I highly recommend hiring Mary (Mindful Dog) as your dog’s trainer. We are on our 2nd set of lessons and my puppy is still benefiting a lot. Sox loves her and is more than happy to work for her approval and price. Throughout the whole time we work with Mary, she keeps providing continued support outside the time set for the lessons via text or email, in a timely and professional manner, answering any and all questions I have.
Another thing to love about Mary’s way of working is that she is flexible. She’ll meet at agreed place or come to you, training your dog in his home environment. Mary, is a very giving trainer, offering the information she has at her disposal – the knowledge she has, links, resources. I like to understand why, not just to be told what to do and she always satisfies my curiosity. She is a never-ending source of material for all of your dog-caring needs. After each training session, she sends a follow up text with homework and areas to cover between lessons. She adapts the training so that both you and your dog are set up for success. Mary is wonderful and we have been lucky to find her!
